THE CHALLENGE

 

The CRiG project is designed around Col·lecció Rubiralta i Garriga. The Col·lecció Rubiralta i Garriga is a particular collection constituted by more of 300 xylographic matrices of Abadal familiar workshop, one of the main Catalan engraving sagas from the middle of the 17th century to the end of the 19th century. The challenge is to make known this, unprecedented and important, artistic collection in its historical and contemporary context.

 

The CRiG project website presents, not only this collection, but also the network of collaborations that is being woven to present the collection in its context, with the collaboration of: Museu de la Vida Rural from the Carulla Foundation, Barcelona Design Museum, Barcelona Museu de la Música, Museu Comarcal de Manresa, Barcelona Llotja Advanced School of Art and Design, Escola d’Art de Manresa and different files and investigators. 

 

THE SOLUTION

 

 The 2.0 web of CRiG project, created with liquidDinamik, allows browsing the different information levels of the agents who participate in the project: the Col·lecció Rubiralta i Garriga, the funds of the participating museums in dialogue with pieces of the CRiG, the funds of the historic and contemporary files, and the creations, by the Art and Design students, inspired in the original pieces from the 17th and 19th centuries. Content that is growing, as the project and the number of participants grows.  

 

 THE RESULT

 

liquidDinamik is the 2.0 digital platform from CRiG project, a work, investigation and dissemination group, an organized, stable and permanent space permanently updated, where the results and the development of the project can be shown to make them available to the public.
